Inside the complex of the Church of Santa Maria dei Derelitti (called "Church of Ospedaletto"), there is the SALA DELLA MUSICA (Music Room), venue of the concerts. The Ospedaletto was famous for the musical tradition of the choirs of orphan girls educated by talented masters: the organ of Pietro Nacchini and the SALA DELLA MUSICA are a tangible memory of it. Usually known to a few musicologists, who appreciate the history of the activity of famous musicians, the Hall was frescoed by Jacopo Guarana, and Agostino Mengozzi Colonna, extreme interpreters of that pictorial tradition that in the eighteenth century had reached its maximum splendor thanks to example of Tiepolesco.
